Audio Patch Cable
March 27th, 2010Can someone help me set up my home recording equipment. ?
Q: The Equipment I have are as follows
Behringer EURORACK UB802 Mixer
MXL 990 / MXL 991 Recording Microphone Package
Musicians Gear Lo-Z Microphone Cable (20 Foot)
Behringer U-CONTROL UCA202 USB-Audio Interface
I also have a dual patch 1/4 cable.
So far my mixer recognizes my mics and everything but when plugged into my computer and used to try to record on my recording software nothing gets picked up.
I have both Apple Logic Pro 8.0 and Garage Band.
Please help, give suggestions, anything.
I have started looking at it more and the only problem about it is that when i play back my recording I hear nothing. Any ideas about settings?
A: Most of those manufacturers have tech support, try them. You might get a better answer on the computer board here at YA. This board, though dedicated to radio, is more for programming, music and promotion questions. There’s a couple of engineers (where’s Gearbox?) on this board who may give a better answer, but post over there also.
