May 28th, 2010problem with rock band on the ps3?
Q: Purchased a 40g PS3 and it came with rock band, the complete set up, mic., drums, guitar, hooked it up via the yellow, white and red cable, plays the madden game just fine but when hooking up to play rock band the only thing that works is the microphone, I have the hub and have the instruments plugged in, light comes on on the drums, light comes on on the guitar but the screen says to connect them and they are connected already. Have not owned a PS3 before, nor do I know anything about rock band just thought it would be fun to have here. Any way if you know any options or input on what I am doing wrong then feel free to throw me your input. Take care , thanks for taking the time to help and have a great day.
A: i had this problem at first with guitar hero…i dont know if its the same problem with you or not…i had to reasign my controllers (hold down the ps button>controller settings>reassign controllers) to make it where the instrument i was playing was in controller slot 1..hope it helps…if not take to back to where you got it and get your money back..and buy just the ps3
