Q: Hello Everbody today i got an RMA nuber through NewEgg For Minor Techinical Issue In My ATX Case. Well I know You Are SUPPOSED to have everything that came with it. I have all the importent stuff but i’m missing all the stuff listed below. Do You Think I Should Try To Send It For RMA. Thank You
1. Motherboard Stand-offs that ame with case
2. Those little belts that are used to arrange the cables inside the case
3. A small carboard box (very small) that held all of the racks to mount the drives (have the racks).
Do you guys think I should cancel the RMA?
A: An RMA (return merchandise authorization) is simply the seller’s way of saying they give you permission to return the merchandise for repair, replacement or refund (usually stipulated in the RMA.) Whether or not you should cancel the RMA depends on several things:
1, Are you 100% absolutely sure the product will work without the missing parts? Will the missing parts affect any warranty?
2. Would NewEgg simply send you the missing parts or do they absolutely require a return?
3. If NewEgg merely distributes the merchandise, they might not have the missing pieces to send to you.
4. How quickly do you need to install the product? If the answer is “immediately” or “within the next few days”, then you’ll have a problem. Figure at least a few days shipping time from you to NewEgg, at least a few days processing time by NewEgg to get the replacement packaged and ready to ship, and at least another few days to ship from NewEgg back to you. You’re looking at 10 days minimum, maybe more than 2 weeks if nobody works on weekends.
Hope the above helps you make your decision because you’re the only one who knows what’s best.
