Speakon Speaker Cables
December 25th, 2009Speakon cables are now used with most speakers. Why are these cables marked -1/+2, -2/+1, etc.?
Q: Is there a way of figuring out which cables go where? (like the old simple jack to jack method)

A: the numbering is for Bi-wiring, separating the treble signal from the Bass at the speaker.. put the 1′s together and the 2′s together if only using normal speakers, make sure you wire them in the direction of the cable writing….
