Total Price- $149.95
A: I’m assuming that these are either US or Canadian dollars. If so, no, this is not a good deal because it’s not that great a camcorder. 5 minutes of video and 32MB of storage capacity. 5 minutes of video, at 30 fps, is 9000 frames. Can you imagine how poor these must be if you can fit 9000 of them into 32MB of storage space.
Even if they run it at a jerky 15fps, 4500 frames is still a lot to fit into 32MB. They would be horribly compressed.
It has no optical zoom or auto-focus which means the lens is similar to what you would find in a disposable 35mm camera.
This is a toy and nothing more. The price is right, but don’t expect much in the way of performance or quality.
