With a Bluetooth headset, a user could not only listen to music but also switches over to cell phone, which will be notified when a call comes in. The phone disconnects when the call ends, resuming the music automatically.
Usually, Bluetooth headsets offer 12 hours of talk time and 10 hours of listening time and the price ranges from 30 to 300 dollars. The connectivity range of a Bluetooth device is 33 feet. There are two types of earpiece covers; one foam and the other like a cushioned doughnut. Now there are new models of headsets which weigh as light as 10 grams coming with a mini USB plug attached directly to the headset and can pair with up to three devices at a time. The operation is so simple that a single button is used to manage calls with up and down volume toggles.
Since Bluetooth is becoming more and more popular, the security aspect also has to be taken into consideration .It is possible to install software to prevent hackers getting in but newer devices will offer bigger and better security.
Bluetooth wireless headsets are certainly for people who want to enjoy listening to music and attend serious business calls too.
