Build or buy a home theater?
Would I be better off buying a Bose nouns system or buying seperate speakers and reciever? I know Bose is great quality but I don’t necisarily involve the built in thorny drive or DVD player that their systems offer, I only want maximum flexibility as far as inputs and outputs and best quality obviously.

Burning Naruto episodes onto a dvd disk?
Ok basically I am a huge admirer of Naruto Shipppuuden and I want to burn episodes onto a DVD disk. My questions are as followed: What software is the ABSOLUTE BEST for burning dvds? (so that if i put it into a dvd player it the audio will meeting the video, because i have burned dvd in the past where within some newer dvd players it works fine but, in an elder one the audio is like 1-3 second ahead) ^ must be able to convert the videos^ but for What software is the ABSOLUTE BEST for converting video files without losing trait? Where can I find Naruto Shippuuden episodes in big quality and big eyeshade (what i mean by big peak is that I dont want a video files 400 by 400 because then it will come out adjectives blotchy like square boxs and stuff. HIGh peak resolution)? I no it sounds like alot but, please! I used to convert the video from saiyanisland.com into mp4 and then put them on my ipod and consequently use my ipod dock to transfer them to the TV. superfluous to say they come out crappy. PLEASE!

Buy a house wired near CAT-5, how to utilize?

Cable Spilter Question –5.7dB? –3.5dB?
I need to spilt my cable 2 ways.I’ve notice on the Monster 2-way spilters it says on the out: –3.5dB, and on the 3 road spilters –5.7dB? Can anyone tell me what this system? I would like to connect the spilter directly to the power strip “cable out” using a double masculine, or should the cable be spilt before it go into the surge protector/power conditioner as it has 3 inputs/outputs?

Can a blu-ray disk play within a regular dvd player?
I accidentally grabbed a blu-ray disc movie for my daughter for her Easter Basket. It say it will play in a blu-ray player or a PS3. Will it play within a DVD player? We havent opened it, so I can still swap it if I call for to. Thanks so much!! Happy Easter!!

Can a home cinema system output surround nouns near single stereo input from the TV?
Hello, I have a unsophisticated 5:1 surround sound DVD home cinema system from LG. When I use a DVD it plays other in surround nouns using all the 5 speakers and the subwoofer. Unfortunately however, when i play the TV through the system, i can just get 2 of the speakers to work. Is it because the system is individual getting a stereo sound as input from the TV. If so, i would expect it to ‘up-scale’ the stereo and output it as surround. Is this possible? The DVD is connected to the TV via a scart cable. Thanks

The system was set up for listining to music, but when i listen to movies similar to O brother where art thou or even resadent evil I sware I cant speak about the differance between my set up and my brothers new bose supper dupper mulit pupper 6.1 set up.(except mine will litterely shake the walls and clatter windows). Can I convert SPDIF (optical) to RCA (analog)?
I was setting up adjectives of my new electronics when I realize that my TV (Sceptre X46BV) has one audio output, and it is optical SPDIF (digital). This poses a problem because my current Phillips HTS (HTS3555) only have RCA inputs (analog). Is there a cheap cable or converter I can use to join up the SPDIF output to the RCA input? If this can’t be done, I was thinking of using the RCA output from my Direct TV box to the RCA inputs on the HTS heir. The problem with this is that the Direct TV to TV nouns is through HDMI. Is there a route configure the systems to use HDMI for video only, allowing me to dance RCA to RCA from the Direct TV box to the HTS receiver? If I hooked up the RCA to RCA, would it convey audio through both HDMI and RCA? I can’t really take the TV or HTS rear to the store at this point, so I’m hoping there is SOMETHING I can do to bring 5.1 when I’m watching TV. thanks Bill
