Q: I have got a pair of these headphones for my xbox 360:

I am wondering whether there is any way to connect them to the computer as a microphone. I already have the audio set up via the headphones slot going to the transmitter.
Is there any adapter you can buy to connect the mic to the pc?
A: I have the same Headset, all you need is a 2.5mm to 3.5mm adapter. Since you’re only using it for the microphone (sound is played across wirelessly), You can use a mono adapter such as this:

Then you would just need a standard 3.5mm audio cable. The adapter would fit into the headset, then the cable would connect the adapter to the pink plug on the computer.
Worked for me, was a bit quiet though, so you may have to adjust the settings on the computer.
